How CVera handles and protects your personal data.
Last updated: 10 June 2026
This page summarises how CVera (developed by Ralex Lab) collects, uses and protects your personal data. The full privacy policy is published by Ralex Lab at ralexlab.com/privacy. Service-specific data terms are also set out in section 7 of our Terms and Conditions.
Data we collect
Your name and email address, the CV and cover letter content you enter, an optional profile photo, your subscription status, payment transaction records, AI-feature usage counters (timestamps and token totals, not content), and technical logs such as IP address and browser information.
How we protect it
CV content is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and all traffic is encrypted in transit over TLS (HTTPS). With optional Vault Mode, your data is encrypted with a passphrase only you know, so not even CVera staff can read it.
Your rights (GDPR)
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time from your Account Settings, or by contacting us via the Contact page. Users in the EEA may also lodge a complaint with their national data protection authority.
Third parties and data selling
We use trusted processors (including Stripe, Google Cloud Translation and OpenAI) only to run the Service, and each processes data solely on our instructions. We never sell or rent your personal data.
